Origo is an established business distributing premium products in Ireland. We are currently looking to appoint a Business Development Manager for the STIHL division in Northern Ireland. The role calls for a self-motivated person with relevant technical and field sales experience. As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing the sales of Stihl in the north. This will involve 360 degree maintenance of all categories within Stihl and in particular electric and battery powered products. The role requires a dynamic, resilient and flexible individual who possess the motivation to achieve our business results.

Responsibilities :

·Generate and expand gross sales for existing and potential new areas of the business

·Develop existing and new customer base in the STIHL division

·Achieve and exceed sales targets and margins as per the company business plan

·Promote product awareness particularly battery powered and electrical products

·Merchandising – ensure products are displayed correctly to maximise sales out

·Ensure the product / brand is achieving its maximum potential within current customer base

·Report on competitor activity, sales, budgets and targets

·Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management system

·Promote and execute all marketing activities

·Manage and clear supports calls within the agreed time scale

Key Attributes & Skills Required:

· Highly motivated with a passion for the STIHL brand

· High interest and knowledge of new technologies within the product offering

· Proven ability to achieve allocated targets

· Comprehensive working knowledge ofMicrosoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

· Capability to work on own initiative

· Proven ability to negotiate with large customers and demonstrate a good business case for developing new product ranges etc.

· Knowledge of the competition

· Excellent presentation skills

· Highly motivated with an assertive manner

· Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

· Flexible and enthusiastic individual with the will to succeed

· Proven ability to develop sales opportunities and move them to a successful closed sale

· Ability to take ownership and resolve issues

· High energy with a driven personality to achieve & exceed sales targets
