We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, dedicated individual to join our award‑winning team as a Care Assistant – Nights at Hanford Court Care Home in Stoke on Trent.
About the Role
Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal hygiene care while maintaining independence, dignity, and respect.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, fall risk, infection signs) and promptly escalates any identified risks.
* Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting each individual's dignity.
* Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.
About You
* Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Show initiative and maintain respect towards residents and other members of the home.
* Be an efficient worker capable of carrying reasonable instructions from team members.
* Be adaptable and flexible, able to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
* Prior experience is not required; a thorough induction and training programme will be provided.
