Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant (Band 4) to support the Children's Care Group Senior Leadership Team. The role includes managing complex diaries and email inboxes, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, reports, presentations, and correspondence, and attending meetings to take accurate minutes. You will prioritise workload, handle sensitive information with discretion, and act as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries. You will liaise closely with managers, clinicians, support services, and external agencies to support the day‑to‑day business of the Care Group. Additionally, you will maintain filing and record systems, monitor mandatory training compliance and staff absences, support service improvement initiatives and projects, and provide cross‑cover within the administrative team when required.
Qualifications and Experience
You will have strong administrative experience gained in a busy or complex environment and be highly organised and proactive. You will be confident working independently, managing competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to liaise with senior managers and a wide range of stakeholders. You should demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality and information governance, adapt, be reliable, remain calm under pressure, and have a flexible approach to work. An advantage is having access to transport and the ability to travel within the required geographical area.
