A gentleman in Kelso, looking for a personal assistant to help ensure all his personal care needs are met in a safe and efficient manner. Support with morning and evening personal care routine in particular and also catheter care management.
Terms
* Hours per week: Every second weekend – 2 hours Saturday and 2 hours Sunday.
* Hours of work:
o Morning visit – 9.00am – 10am
o Evening visit – 8.30pm – 9.30pm
* £14.05 per hour.
* Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata.
* Probationary period of 6 months.
* Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership.
Job Description
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
* To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
* To support with personal care routine as/when required.
* To support with general care needs including:
o Personal care assistance, medication prompts.
o Meal and drink preparation.
o Catheter care management.
o To develop a positive relationship with the client and work as part of a team.
