Location & Hours
Location: Salford - office-based with some remote working
Hours: 42 hours per week
Compensation
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + £6.7k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits
Your Responsibilities
As our Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering the Quantity Surveying function on assigned projects, all while adhering to the framework set by the Commercial Manager. Your focus will be on:
* Maximizing service quality and profitability while ensuring compliance with company procedures and Group Standards.
* Delivering profitability without significant Work in Progress (WIP) at the levels expected for your projects.
* Taking the lead in cost controls, managing and supporting site teams as needed.
* Leading commercial teams to secure maximum sustainable value from contracts and settling subcontracts fairly.
* Preparing monthly regional Cost Value (CV) and forecast reports.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* A BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying.
* Experience working with NEC contracts, particularly Target Cost.
* Previous experience on multidisciplinary Rail projects.
