We are working exclusively with a UK wide professional services organisation looking for an HR Advisor for their East Anglia region based in Norwich. This role arises from an internal promotion and offers progression and growth.
This is a completely generalist HR Advisor role and is suitable for a seasoned HR Administrator with recruitment experience or an HR Officer seeking their next step.
Business
Professional services environment supporting two sites (Cambridge and Norwich) with a headcount of around 200 employees.
Youll support an HR Business Partner day to day and liaise with other HR professionals across the group, including a HR Administrator at the site.
Responsibilities
* Management of end‑to‑end recruitment activity – posting adverts, interview feedback.
* Management and planning of all new starter onboarding.
* Payroll administration for starters, leavers and changes.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and upskill management on best practice when necessary.
* Low level ER case management, including absence, occupational health referrals and welfare – you will also take minutes during more complex cases.
* General HR administration – offer letters, contracts and payroll data input.
* HR process and policy updates in line with current UK legislation.

* Review all recruitment processes.
* Management coaching and talent development.
This role suits someone looking for their first step into an HR Advisor role with a generalist background and recruitment exposure.
Flexibility: you will be based in Norwich 3 days a week, travelling to Cambridge 1‑2 times a month.
You will be the primary point of contact onsite day to day for employees from an HR perspective – this role suits someone confident, proactive, and comfortable reaching out for support.
