We are currently recruiting for a manufacturing company based in Rugby looking for an Maintenance Electrician with a background of working within a busy manufacturing company. As a Maintenance Electrician you will have experience of working on control panels, conveyors, PLC's motors, drives, invertors etc This is a Monday to Friday days role - see below:
Salary
£48,128 per annum
Hours
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 and 08:00 - 15:30 on a Friday.
Every 5th week you will be required to work Monday to Friday 14:00 - 22:00 and 08:00 - 16:00 on the Saturday and Sunday for pre-planned maintenance. Your rest days for this period will be on the Monday and Tuesday.
Role Summary:
React to breakdown maintenance requests
diagnose, calibrate, and repair electrical and control systems, including sensors and automation equipment.
Ability to read technical drawings, and skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and using specialized tools
Able to apply a risk focused maintenance approach and operations of plant and systems in data centres/critical environments.
Escalate urgent issues identified through to the Supervisor
Respond to work interruptions, outages or emergencies
Responsibility for ensuring all critical related engineering maintenance documentation & records is kept updated
Understand and interpret technical drawings
Review and submit to the Technical Services Manager ensuring all actions are documented reviewed and completed.Experience Required
· NVQ level 3 Electrical Installations as a minimum or equivalent
· 2 years' Experience working in an industrial environment
· Able to diagnose, calibrate, and repair electrical and control systems
· Ability to work effectively with other technicians and engineers
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and solve complex problems in automated and electrical systems.
