As a Holidays Operations Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in looking after our holiday cottages, ensuring each one is welcoming, well-presented and ready for our guests to enjoy. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting the team, coordinating day-to-day operations, and making sure our cottages consistently meet the high standards our guests expect. Working closely with the Holidays Manager and Assistant Manager, you’ll support the smooth running of the operation, coordinating changeovers, checking in with the team, and stepping in with hands-on support when needed.
We aim to provide a consistent working pattern where possible. Flexibility is essential, as schedules may change depending on business needs, although we will endeavour to give as much notice as possible.
Salary: £20,670 pro rata (FTE £25,837.50 per annum)
Contract: Permanent
Hours/ working pattern: 1560 hours per year. Contract is based on annualised hours, where the number of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.
You'll work 1560 hours per year. Which works as an average 30 hours a week, typically 4 to 5 days each week.

What you'll be doing
You’ll support and guide a team of Holidays Operation Assistants, playing an important role in their induction, ongoing training and development so they feel confident and well-supported in their roles. A big part of your work will focus on the practical running of the operation—managing stock, coordinating linen, organising and distributing supplies to cottages, and making sure the team has everything they need to deliver consistently high standards. This is a varied role that will see you out and about across our cottages as well as completing some desk-based work, so you’ll need to be well-organised, adaptable and motivated. Above all, you’ll share our commitment to looking after these special places and ensuring every guest leaves with lasting memories of their stay.
