Accounts Assistant - Near Alderley Edge - Permanent - up to £30K DOE We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our client based near Alderley Edge. This is a full time permanent role working Monday - Friday 8.30-4.30pm.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Process purchase orders
Process and check invoices against orders
Acting as the main point of contact for all queries
Sales invoice processing
Creditor statement reconciliations
Support with system change
General admin to support the wider team
Requirements
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred, with a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
Proficiency in accounting software
Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes within the financial services sector.
