Patient Administration Manager
Priory Hospital, Birmingham – 37.5 hours per week, permanent position.
Salary: Up to £46,000 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).
Duties
* Oversee the day-to-day management of patient administration services, ensuring processes are efficient, accurate, and patient‑centred.
* Lead, manage, and coordinate the performance of administration teams across all relevant departments.
* Provide clear leadership and direction to administration leads, supervisors, and wider team members.
* Recruit, train, and develop administrative staff, ensuring all team members are supported through performance reviews and personal development plans.
* Ensure smooth, timely, and coordinated patient pathways across booking, admissions, discharge, and follow‑up.
* Monitor and improve patient access, reducing delays and optimising communication with patients and clinical teams.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in healthcare administration or operations management.
* Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Strong understanding of patient pathway management, data protection, and service coordination.
* Proficient in patient administration systems and Microsoft Office.
