We are recruiting Support Workers for Nadeem who lives with his parents at home in Swindon. Please note this role would suit anyone seeking part time or bank hours due to the shifts for this role being: Monday to Friday 15:30pm until 21:30pm Saturday and Sunday 09:30am until 21:30pm Therefore, would suit anyone seeking part time or bank. About Nadeem Nadeem is a 19-year-old young man who lives at home with his mum and dad in Swindon. He attends an educational setting five days a week and is looking for a skilled and experienced team to support him outside of these sessions. Nadeem requires 2:1 support and needs his team to be confident in supporting people with autism and behaviours that may challenge. He is non-verbal, so it is important that his team can use flexible and creative approaches to communication. Nadeem enjoys being outdoors, especially going to the park, riding his bike and taking part in activities in the community. His mum and dad are an important part of his life and working in partnership with them will be key to supporting Nadeem well. About you You will: Put Nadeem first and appreciate him for the amazing person he is Stand by him through tough times and be resilient Assess situations with patience and empathy Bring a lively, friendly, and caring personality Have a good sense of humour and be able to share jokes and pranks Be trustworthy, loyal, and upfront, with strong boundaries Follow routines and be flexible and creative when needed Communicate well and be reliable and supportive Full UK driving license is preferred for this role. Experience in a similar role is essential. Full training will be provided through Seco Supports induction programme and online learning. Full referencing and a full enhanced check of the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) will be required for this position.
