Service Advisor – Guildford Salary: £32,000 - £35,600 OTE (upsell bonus) | Full-time, 45hrs/week One Saturday per month on rota A well-established, family-owned dealership in Guildford, Surrey, is looking for a high-calibre Service Advisor to join our Multi-Franchise Workshop (Vauxhall or Jaecoo/Omoda/Nissan). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with relevant automotive experience to maximise service profitability, deliver outstanding customer service, and benefit from a competitive bonus scheme. What We Offer * Basic Salary: £32,000 per annum * OTE: Up to £35,600 (additional upsell commission for Tyres, Products & Service Car Plans) * Hours: 45 hours per week, one Saturday per month on rota * Gross Profit Bonus: Starts at 80% of monthly budgeted target; overperformance is uncapped * Customer Experience / CSI Bonus: Paid monthly based on department CSI score above national average * Additional Upsell Commission: * A/C Deodoriser, Oil Treatment, Fuel Treatment – £2 per unit * Retail Tyres – £2.50 per tyre * Wheel Alignment – £10 per alignment * Service Car Plan (1yr/2yr/3yr) – £10 per year registered * Other Benefits: * Company pension scheme * 22 days holiday birthdays off and bank holidays * Access to a car scheme (if required) * Company events and ongoing training Role & Responsibilities As a Service Advisor, your main purpose is to maximise service profitability while providing excellent customer service. Key duties include: * Taking service bookings via website, telephone, or face-to-face, ensuring all required information is captured. * Scheduling service work efficiently to maximise workshop utilisation. * Managing the use of courtesy vehicles to enhance customer experience. * Promoting relevant services and products to customers. * Raising job cards in line with manufacturer standards. * Receiving completed job cards and informing customers of costs and completion times. * Communicating additional work requirements to customers and gaining authorisation. * Ensuring accurate service documentation and customer data maintenance. * Resolving customer complaints promptly and referring unresolved issues to the Service Manager.
