Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant for a full-time, on-site role at our Aylesbury location. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing financial reporting, utilizing accounting software, conducting financial analysis, and supporting overall finance operations. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate and compliant financial activities that align with the organization's objectives.
Responsibilities
* Accurately prepare informative management accounts that will be delivered in a timely manner on a monthly / quarterly / yearly basis.
* Preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns.
* Management Accounts (P&L, Cash-flow, Balance Sheet).
* Dealing with clients, HMRC and third parties.
* Support the senior managers in robust financial planning and budgeting.
* Operationally manage the financial processing and management accounting functions within head office.
* Oversee and manage all finance activities, working with the finance team and CFO on all major transactions.
* Reconciliation of complex Intercompany transactions
* Provide timely and accurate finance and operational reporting and analysis to C-Level.
* Responsible for reconciliations along with performing the month end management accounts including AR, AP Balance Sheet reconciliation.
Qualifications
* A qualified accountant (MAAT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* Have a “can do” attitude and ability to plan work to meet reporting deadlines.
* Proficient in Finance and Analytical Skills for accurate financial planning and decision-making
* Hands‑on experience working with Business Central
* Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
* Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Experience working with foreign currencies.
* Logical thinker with great problem‑solving skills.
* Working knowledge of regulatory compliance standards in the healthcare sector
