The Role As a Bar Events Assistant you’ll play a vital part in creating outstanding moments for every visitor. This role involves working in our bar areas across performance, non-performance days as well as private functions. The successful candidate will work closely with all members of the Customer Experience team to ensure an effective and high quality, customer service experience for all our visitors to Pitlochry Festival Theatre. Key Tasks: Some of the key tasks are below – a full job description is available upon request: Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint Provide high-quality customer experience in all areas of the Theatre as required Be knowledgeable about the history of the Theatre, the local area and the variety of drink and food offerings available Work collaboratively with colleagues to maximise the customer experience and to ensure the smooth delivery of events Serve food and drinks Present daily specials to customers and answer questions about menu items especially regarding allergies Set and clear tables ensuring area is clean and ready for use Re-stock area as required according to Operating Procedures Provide assistance to the Kitchen Team Assist in the setup of and layout of areas for private functions Uphold high standards of health and safety, reporting any concerns About You We’re seeking individuals who are: Experienced in a customer serving environment Customer-focused and friendly Adaptable and proactive Team players with a strong work ethic Comfortable working outdoors and independently when required Willing to learn and grow within the role Ready to Apply?
