JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Picker/ Packer to join one of our clients based at London Gateway, Stanford le Hope area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the organisation and presentation of our inventory. This position involves ensuring that products are stocked efficiently and effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Receive deliveries, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
2. Organise stock on shelves and in storage areas, adhering to proper rotation and placement protocols.
3. Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages to management.
4. Assist in the implementation of promotional displays and ensure that products are visually appealing.
5. Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness and organisation within the stockroom and sales floor.
6. Conduct regular stock checks and assist with data entry related to inventory management systems.
REQUIREMENTS
7. Experience in a warehouse or retail environment is advantageous.
8. Previous warehousing and picking/packing experience
9. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes to enhance operational efficiency.
10. Familiarity with retail management principles to optimise stock levels and product placement.
11. Understanding of business processes related to inventory control.
HOURS
Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday 08:00- 17:00.
