As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are looking for full-time Teaching Assistants/Classroom Assistants to join our team at New Barn School.
* Salary: £22,300 per annum (not pro-rata)
* Location: New Barn School, The Long Barn, Welford, RG20 8HZ
* Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
* Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (includes a 5pm finish)

About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with pupils and young people, helping them maximize their educational potential. Your responsibilities include preparing learning materials, running classroom activities, and supporting their emotional and physical needs to foster development and engagement.

* Experience in the independent SEMH sector and with pupils with SEN (highly desirable)
* Willingness to adopt a therapeutic approach to teaching and working with SEN/SEMH pupils
* Previous experience with ASC (highly desirable)
