We are now recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial lead responsibility on a major £30m MOD project based in Lakenheath.

The Role
As the commercial lead on this flagship MOD scheme, you will:

Oversee the full commercial lifecycle of a £30m project
*
Manage cost control, forecasting, valuations, and reporting
*
Lead subcontract procurement and package management
*
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
*
Work closely with the project team to drive value, mitigate risk, and protect margins
*
Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners
Ideal Candidate
*
Experience within the Defence/MOD sector is advantageous but not essential
*
Proven track record delivering large-scale construction projects (£20m–£30m+)
*
Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge (NEC experience ideal)
*
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
*
Ability to manage complex packages and drive commercial performance
