Job Overview We are seeking skilled CNC Lathe Setter/Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating CNC lathes, preferably within an Aerospace environment. This role involves precision machining of components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities * Set & operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality components according to technical drawings and specifications. * Set up and adjust machines, including loading materials and selecting appropriate tools. * Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. * Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. * Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and implement best practices in machining processes. * Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Experience * Proven experience setting & operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment is essential. * Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to read technical drawings and data sheets * Previous experience in an AS9100 certified company would be advantageous. * Previous experience on Citizen Miyano, Cincinatti Lamb, Hawk & Falcons, Doosan Lynx machinery would be advantageous Hours of work - 38hrs per week - Mon ~ Thurs 7.30 ~ 16.30 (30mins lunch) Fri - 7.30 ~ 11.30 Pay - subject to experience - £25K ~ £38K per annum If you have a passion for precision engineering and are looking to further your career as a CNC Lathe Operator, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
