We are currently looking for a Receptionist to join our Cambridge site on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Greeting visitors to the facility warmly, offering them help immediately and ensuring a positive visitor experience throughout their visit
2. Signing in visitors and supplying them visitor's badges
3. Setting up meeting facilities
4. Assisting with scheduling appointments and meeting times
5. Coordinating access to our demonstration laboratory and assist with any admin support necessary to organise successful client visits
6. Making and providing refreshments for client meetings and visitors
7. Assist with booking meeting rooms and hot desks
8. Arranging for catering for meetings and daily office use, including keeping the kitchen areas stocked with tea, coffee, milk and fruit
9. Answering phones, screening and directing incoming calls to office staff members
10. General administrative duties; undertaking photocopying, binding, scanning, printing and sorting documents
11. Sorting, scanning and distribution of incoming and outgoing post
12. Cleaning, organising, and maintaining the reception area
13. Answering questions about office hours and who is in the office at any given time
14. Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance
The Person
15. Previous experience in a receptionist/administration role preferable but not required, full training will be given
16. Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
17. Confidence in dealing with clients, colleagues and customers
18. IT literate and confident working with Word, Excel and Outlook
19. Excellent organisation and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
20. Ability to work effectively within a team and provide support to all departments in the office when required
21. Self-motivated and resourceful, with initiative and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
22. Ability to respond flexibly to shifts in priorities in response to arising needs.
