We are looking for a General Manager to take The White Horse Wembley to the next level. To build on its reputation as “The” Venue in Wembley Park to visit whether that is joining a friends’ pre-event, gathering with like-minded fans to celebrate or to catch up with friends and colleagues that work and live in the area.
Wembley Park with world-famous landmarks and tree-lined boulevards, a burgeoning food scene, affordable designer brands and quirky independent shops, this is one of London’s most exciting cultural neighbourhoods, only a 12 minutes' tube ride from Central London. The White Horse Wembley is situated at the heart of Wembley Park and has established a great reputation in Northwest London.
Are you a passionate and innovative leader with an ambition to operate a multi revenue stream business? The White Horse is seeking a talented and experienced General Manager to oversee our diverse offers including arena and stadium events and being the hub of the local community.
The unique position of The White Horse ensures that no day is like the next. Due to the diversity of events held at both the stadium and arena, one day your clientele is arriving to hear a classical performance, the next football supporters to cheer on a cup winning team followed just a few days later by tens of thousands of Taylor Swift fans….you have to be versatile – to max it out when the footfall is there but create a community feel for the locals when there aren’t events. So, pivot is important.
We are seeking a dynamic individual who is a leader with a collaborative approach and a forward thinker; that works with their team to maximise on each opportunity not only through the events at the Stadium and Arena but also building on the strong community links with residents. You must be able to work well under pressure and be highly organised and systematic in your approach to maximise both Sales and Profit at peak times and have a strong team ethos. A deep understanding of high-volume fresh food and a real passion for delivering experiences that nourish the soul, will make you a standout candidate for the role.
