We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
* Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
* Engage in food preparation and cooking as needed to support the team during peak times
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen processes
* Collaborate with management to develop menus and enhance food production efficiency
* Provide training and guidance to new employees on culinary techniques and hospitality standards
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care
* Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good working order and report any issues promptly
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality sector
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development
* Previous experience in kitchen operations, including barista skills or hotel experience is advantageous
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
* A passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
