CNC Miller Precision Engineering up to 41,000 Colchester area 12pm finish on Fridays
An established precision engineering business is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their growing team at their facility based in a rural location near Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist looking to work with advanced machinery and modern programming tools in a supportive environment.
The Role:
As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components to tight tolerances. You will work across a range of 3, 4, and 5-axis machines, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Programming using Fusion 360
* Setting and operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls
* Working on 3, 4, and 5-axis machinery
* Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Ensuring all work meets ISO9001 quality standards
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller
* Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls
* Experience with Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM software
* Ability to work to ISO9001 standards
* Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential due to location)
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
