About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Admissions Manager to join a well-established independent provider of specialist education services. This senior role is responsible for managing all aspects of the referral and admissions process across multiple London-based schools and services, ensuring that children and young people are placed in the right setting to thrive. The post-holder will oversee a team of assessment managers and coordinators, driving high standards throughout the admissions journey, from initial referral to placement. They will also lead on contracts and Individual Placement Agreements, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant. Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the operational delivery of referrals and placements across multiple schools and services.
* Manage, develop, and support the admissions team, ensuring targets and KPIs are achieved.
* Lead referral and assessment meetings, panels, and decision-making processes.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, Virtual Schools, Social Care, and other stakeholders.
* Ensure seamless collaboration with senior school leaders to align placements with each school’s unique cohort and provision.
* Provide detailed reporting and analysis on admissions data, referral pipelines, and sector trends.
* Uphold the highest standards of customer service and communication with all stakeholders.
About You: The successful candidate will bring:
* Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and the Education, Health & Care plan (EHCP) system.
* Experience managing referrals or admissions within education, health, or social care settings.
* Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.
* Confidence working with Local Authorities and external agencies at a senior level.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn new digital tools.
