Due to exciting new business, we are recruiting extra new, permanent Supervisors to work in our Retail Packing Department.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm - Midnight, with a salary of £37,241.41 per annum.

The Supervisor will play an integral role within the Retail Department, responsible for delivering the production plan through effective management of people, product, and process, in line with company, customer, and legislative requirements.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring all production line team members work safely, efficiently, uphold food safety, and maintain product quality.
* Becoming a Subject Matter Expert on equipment and processes within your control (subject to appropriate training).
* Ensuring only trained staff complete work tasks.
* Developing a high-performing team through ongoing training and coaching, supporting Senior Ops in their roles.
* Supporting the Shift Manager in their duties.
* Managing safety by strictly adhering to risk mitigation actions and ensuring team safety.
* Ensuring operational compliance regarding performance, food safety, quality, and health & safety.
* Monitoring and controlling standards via KPI management, including safety, quality, people, delivery, and cost targets.
* Using data analysis and lean tools to promote continuous improvement, reducing waste and costs (e.g., 6S, TPM, TQM, JIT, SMED).
* Supporting company policies and lean initiatives, fostering operational excellence.
* Challenging operational standards constructively and escalating issues with solutions.
* Collaborating with relevant departments to resolve problems.
* Contributing to SOP writing and continuous improvement projects.
* Promoting company values: Teamwork, Responsibility, Ambition, and Passion for Food.
* Following company procedures such as return-to-work and PPE protocols.
* Deputising for the Production Shift Manager during their absence.
