Tods Technology are looking to recruit for a Senior HSE Advisor, to commence work at our Portland, Dorset Manufacturing Headquarters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day delivery of Health & Safety and Environment compliance throughout the business, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, customer, and certification requirements. The role supports ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.
Responsibilities: Health and Safety ISO 45001 Implement and maintain the Health & Safety Management System
Advise on risk control and legal compliance
Develop and review Risk Assessments, COSHH and safe systems of work.
Lead incidents and near-miss investigations
Conduct inspections and audits
Manage Contractor H & S compliance
Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks.
Environmental ISO 14001 Maintain Environmental Management System
Manage aspects and impacts and legal register
Monitor waste, emissions and environmental performance
Ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
Compliance and Systems Ensure compliance with H & S and Environmental legislation
Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 audits
Maintain HSE documentation and records
Drive corrective action closure.
Operational Support Provide shopfloor H & S presence
Support all other departments
Support new equipment (PUWER) and process changes
Support expansion projects and facility changes.
Qualifications Needed: NEBOSH General Certificate
Internal auditor qualification
ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 experience
Desirable: NEBOSH Diploma
IEMA Qualification
Aerospace or regulated industry experience
