Manpower Recruitment are looking for a Full Time Permanent Activities Coordinator for an Established Language School in Oxford. Flexibility on days would be needed: Full-time, 5 days per week, (including weekends occasionally) 08:30-17:30 / 09.30 - 18.30 / 11:00-20:00 Monday to Friday and occasional Weekend The Role is paying £24000pa About the role In this role you will assume overall responsibility for the activity programme at the Centre, support the activities staff and ensure a high level of customer service and student satisfaction. This role is all about the personality and the confidence to talk to people with a passion for customer service. Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to: Planning and promoting activities and excursions. Liaising with local suppliers and attractions. Coordinating timetables for all activity groups. Monitoring activity stock levels with regular stock takes. Collecting, recording and banking income. Activity Leader support including observations, feedback and development. Delivering regular leader briefings. Collating and reviewing activities paperwork. Welfare and discipline on activities and excursions. Dealing with problems and emergency situations should they arise. REQUIREMENTS Experience of working with young people. Enthusiastic, organised and a natural leader. Capable of using your own initiative. Have the right to live and work in the country of employment. Complete fluency in English. Attend a training weekend prior to your contract commencing. To communicate effectively and share information with the Student Services Manager, and Director of Student Services. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Takes ownership of the happiness of the school (student experience journey) Plan a balanced and exciting programme that engages all students (activities, excursions, school events, clubs, etc.) Meet weekly and monthly activity income KPIs and manage department finance accurately Meet weekly and annually Student satisfaction scores (NPS, department scores) Manage the Health and safety aspect of the activity and free time provision Overall recruitment, on boarding, retention of activities leaders. Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews. Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels GENERAL Attends management meetings, and school/central meetings as and when required. Shares emergency on call duties with other school staff on rota basis. Takes pride in the look and feel of school and campus and help to keep the building fit for purpose and customer friendly Participates in Fam Tours for visiting sales staff Update school information for all the internal platforms Ensure social and promotional content is up to date (testimonials, schools photos, city photos) Support other teams and covers other department in case of staff absences Work closely with the student services department to ensure a smooth reception If you're interested in the role. please get in touch with a Manpower Representative.
