We're looking for smart meter engineers with a track record of safety and customer excellence. You’ll be representing our brands in our customers’ homes, so you’ll need to be comfortable talking to customers and getting to know them as well as performing installations.
Your responsibilities will include fitting meters, demonstrating how the meters and in-home displays work, explaining how they can help save energy, and answering any questions about the green energy revolution we are leading.
As part of the Octopus Energy Services team, we’ll provide you with everything needed to deliver top-class service. You’ll be supported by an office team sharing the same performance goals, working as one team. Additionally, you'll benefit from Octopus Energy’s extensive tech resources, allowing us to evolve processes for efficiency and better service delivery.
What you'll need:
* MOCoPA - at least 1ph WC
* Gas Safe – CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

* Complete a trades test to showcase your skills
* Answer online questions to demonstrate customer engagement experience
* Have a short interview with the area manager to discuss your experience, motivation, and ask questions about the role
