Head of FP&A (Interim – 6 Months Initially)
Renewable Energy | Central London | Hybrid (3 Days Office-Based)
A high-growth renewable energy business is seeking an experienced Head of FP&A to join on an initial 6-month interim basis, with potential for the role to become permanent.
Working closely with the CFO and wider leadership team, this role will lead financial planning, forecasting, commercial analysis, and performance reporting across the business during a key stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the business
* Develop and maintain robust multi-currency financial models and rolling forecasts
* Deliver monthly performance reporting, KPI analysis, and commercial insights to support strategic decision making
* Partner with senior stakeholders across finance, operations, and commercial teams to drive performance and accountability
* Support cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and scenario analysis
* Provide financial modelling and analytical support for strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and growth opportunities
* Work closely with commercial and growth teams to assess project pipeline performance and business opportunities
* Improve FP&A processes, reporting capability, and financial visibility across the organisation
* Support board reporting, investor materials, and wider strategic finance activities as required
Skills and Experience
* Proven FP&A leadership experience within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
* Strong financial modelling and forecasting capability
* Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
* Experience working with senior leadership teams and board-level reporting
* Prior exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, energy transition, or project-based businesses is advantageous
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
