Job Description:
Up to £75,000 (DOE)
Here at Stocks Veterinary Centre, we have an exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join us on a permanent basis. This role offers a well-balanced caseload between surgery and medicine. We prefer candidates with a surgical bias, as we can offer support for a certificate in this area. The role involves work at both practices. We support career development and potential progression into senior roles. We offer a relocation allowance of up to £5000 and a welcome bonus of £5000 (pro rata).
Work-life balance that works for you
Our flexible rota patterns and working hours help you maintain work-life balance. Whether full-time or part-time, we can find a suitable rota. A typical full-time role involves working 4 days per week, over 40 hours, plus shared Saturday mornings (08:30 – 12:30). Out-of-hours emergencies are covered by Vets Now, with light inpatient care on a shared rota basis.
About us
We are a first opinion small animal practice in Worcestershire, with main site in Upton Upon Seven and a branch in Lower Wick, Worcester. Our facilities include modern diagnostic equipment, separate kennels, dedicated theatre, and in-house labs. Both sites are well connected by major motorways and airports.
Join a fantastic team
Our team of six vets has over 85 years of experience. Many team members have been with us for over ten years. We focus on a positive working environment and work-life balance. Some vets hold certificates in medicine and feline practice. We support and fund certificate pursuits, providing diverse case experience.
Our team includes seven qualified nurses, one ANA, and support staff. We are a nurse training practice, with many students staying on as RVNs.
