The Quotations Coordinator is responsible for managing the preparation, accuracy, and timely delivery of customer quotations. This role ensures that pricing proposals are completed in line with company standards, client requirements, and profitability goals. The Quotations Coordinator works closely with the service and Sales operations teams to gather information, clarify specifications, and provide customers with competitive and professional quotations.

To maximize aftersales ad-hoc revenues and margin through the production of professionally presented and targeted quotations covering (but not limited to) ad-hoc repairs, wheel & tyre replacement, accident damage & misuse, PPM contracts, chargeable work arising (from service / from Thorough Examination), chargeable modifications, chargeable retrofits
2. To liaise with service engineers, controllers, supervisors and Regional Service Managers to maximize the effectiveness of service quotations to ensure that revenue and margin opportunities are optimized
3. To generate off hire damage rectification quotations in conjunction with rental control, contract administration, workshop and field service functions
4. Continuously monitor outstanding quotations with customers and where necessary liaise with appropriate personnel to obtain a customer order number
5. Negotiate a commercially viable price which is acceptable to customers and in line with margin guidelines for Linde MH UK
6. To utilize effective negotiation closing strategies with each customer with a view obtaining customer order and maximizing quotation conversion
7. Develop on going customer relationships with a view to easing the negotiation of quotation closure
8. Conduct each transaction with external and internal customers in a professional and competent manner consistent with maximizing customer satisfaction, and encouraging repeat business, revenue and profit growth for the business.
