Class 1 Driver (CE) - Weekend Work | Gravesend The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (CE) Driver to join a busy and well-established client based in Gravesend for weekend work Job Role: Operating a Class 1 (CE) vehicle within the waste industry Carrying out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently Ensuring all loads comply with legal and environmental regulations Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects Working in a customer-facing role, providing a professional service Adhering to all company health & safety policies and procedures Ensuring safe use and storage of all equipment and PPE Hours & Pay: Saturdays: and Sundays 06:00 - 16:00 Pay Rates: £ 26.49ph for Saturday and Sunday Requirements: Valid Class 1 (CE) licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous experience with bulk carriers and articulated vehicles (essential) Good communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong awareness of health & safety procedures What's on Offer: Temp-to-perm opportunity Competitive pay rates Ongoing, stable work Immediate start available The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
