Role: Operator REF 91801 Contract Length: 12 months Location: Thurso IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: £17.88 - £24.72 per hour Security Clearance: SC requested Spinwell is recruiting for an Operator for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE OPERATOR Operate heavy plant such as forklift trucks (up to 48Te), telehandlers, tractors, and trailers Be prepared to undertake terberg shuntmaster training Carry out routine and non-routine vehicle activities including pre-use inspections and defect reporting, collection, and transportation of wastes and other logistic related tasks in support of site projects as appropriate Prepare and distribute various types of approved waste containers and packages to projects Undertake operational monitoring Carry out routine plant, fire and emergency checks identifying unusual trends and system/component failures and assist in its resolution Perform the responsibilities of management appointments relevant to the post SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE OPERATOR Plant qualifications for forklift truck, telehandler, and tractor Experience of operating plant and machinery HGV class 1 would be preferable but not essential If you are an Operator, apply now or send your CV to Spinwell!
