Partnerships Manager - Innovative Independent Publishing Company - £Competitive - UK / Remote
Our client is a fast-growing independent publishing brand that creates playful, interactive experiences for both adults and children. With an already extensive catalogue of adventures, and a 4.9 TripAdvisor rating from over 2000 reviews, this company is on a mission to help people discover the world in fun and unexpected ways.
To capitalise on their incredible initial success, the company has exciting plans for further expansion into new markets and regions. As such they are now seeking a creative and commercially minded partnerships specialist to find, grow and nurture new brand partnerships and distribution opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about partnership strategy, licensing, and brand alignment - particularly in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious, purpose-driven team and help scale a joyful, storytelling-led product through clever collaborations with brands, venues, institutions, and retail outlets. The current offering is only just the start, with huge potential in creating new, scalable and highly innovative products within the entertainment and interactive adventure space.
* Building on the existing concept and working alongside the Founder you will identify, develop and pitch new creative partnership ideas to a wide range of prospective collaborators - from theme parks, hotels and cruise ships to global entertainment brands, national parks and niche retailers
* Secure distribution opportunities for existing products, both online and in physical spaces (tourist shops, hotels, universities, travel hubs, events)
* Develop frameworks for licensing content for bespoke formats (e.g. customised experiences, private labels, co-branded campaigns)
* Collaborate with the owner and editorial team to shape partnership products that maintain the tone of voice and fun aesthetic
* Build strong and lasting relationships with partner organisations, ensuring smooth project execution and long-term commercial value
* Contribute to strategic decisions about new launches, formats, and markets based on partnership insights and audience trends
* Represent the company at meetings, events, and pitch presentations with a professional yet fun-loving attitude
Skills and experience required:
* Proven experience in brand partnerships, licensing and distribution within publishing, media, creative agencies, tourism, education, entertainment or cultural sectors
* Demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and delivering creative brand collaborations and commercial deals
* Experience working with or within small brands/startups where adaptability and initiative are key
* Strong commercial instincts combined with creativity and a playful mindset
* Excellent communication and pitch skills, confident in representing the brand to partners at all levels
* Self-starter with the ability to balance creative thinking with focused execution
* Flexibility for occasional travel throughout the UK for meetings and events

This is a remote role, based anywhere in the UK with occasional travel to London, and there is a competitive salary on offer for the right candidate.
