Early Years Teaching Assistant – Morecambe
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in the Morecambe area starting after October half term.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and other support staff to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Role highlights:
* Supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with their learning and development.
* Assisting with daily routines, classroom organisation, and engaging activities.
* Promoting positive behaviour and helping children build confidence and independence.
* Working with small groups and individual pupils, including those with additional needs.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience working with young children (nursery, preschool, or school setting).
* A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.
* Strong communication skills with both children and adults.
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
