The Role: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a hands-on technical and design delivery role across a wide range of projects. Working closely with the Associate and Director levels, you will take ownership of design output, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality engineering solutions are delivered on time and to budget. You will also have client-facing responsibilities, supporting project leads during meetings and helping to nurture client relationships through technical excellence and collaborative working. Main Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality mechanical building services design across a range of sectors, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with project requirements. Manage and coordinate the mechanical design process from concept through to detailed design and construction stages. Work closely with clients, architects, and other design teams to develop integrated solutions. Attend client meetings and site visits to monitor progress and provide technical input. Support project resource planning and delivery scheduling. Actively contribute to design reviews, peer reviews, and quality assurance processes. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers within the team. Promote best practice, continuous improvement, and innovation across all projects. Requirements: Strong technical background in Mechanical Building Services design, construction, and procurement. Ideally Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with a relevant professional body. Proven experience delivering mechanical building services designs from concept to completion. Good client-facing and communication skills, able to represent the company professionally in meetings and discussions. Solid understanding of BIM processes within project environments. Familiarity with risk management during design and construction phases. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
