Overview
An exciting opportunity within the People & HR Services Procurement Team has arisen. As a Sourcing Manager, you’ll take the lead and provide support for various sourcing activities specific to the People & HR Services Sourcing category. This role predominantly supports People & Places (P&P), though the team may gain exposure to other areas of the group.
You’ll work with stakeholders to source new 3rd party solutions for a range of services and to optimise, renegotiate or re-tender existing supplier services. The services cover Permanent Resourcing, Health & Wellbeing, Reward & Recognition, Learning, Leadership & Development, and outsourced Operations. This role involves engaging with business leads across the entirety of P&P to provide end-to-end Sourcing service and bring a perspective on solution optimisation and performance measures.
We actively encourage personal development to help each team member become a trusted adviser and deliver end-to-end sourcing support.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development of category strategies and deliver initiatives to drive effective service supply and manage the cost base for LBG
* Collaborate with stakeholders to drive spend management through demand management, simplified specifications and strong business outcomes
* Work with colleagues, internal partners and third-party suppliers to run all aspects of the sourcing lifecycle for best value in line with LBG’s strategic vision
* Lead or support sourcing activities across the category, create market competition for best commercial outcomes, and drive innovation
* Develop strong working relationships across senior stakeholder communities
What you'll need
* Strong, proven negotiation skills—preferably in a supplier setting
* Strong organisation, communication, facilitation and influencing skills
* Leadership: experience working with colleagues and senior stakeholders
* Teamwork and collaboration
* Demonstrable sourcing, financial and IT background
