Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for experienced Machine Operators in Leigh
Location: Leigh, WN7
Shift:
Monday- Friday
Weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour, 40 hours a week
Skills & Experience:
1. Experience as a machine operator
2. Knowledge of production procedures
3. Problem solving
4. Decision making
5. Concentration
6. Attention to detail
7. Teamwork
8. Able to follow instructions and production schedules
9. Physical stamina and strength
Main duties are:
10. Grinding machine operation (full training given)
11. Manual handling (up to 25kg bags)
12. Forklift licence is beneficial but they will train people in house
13. Loading and unloading trucks, lifting pallets onto platform & general warehousing duties)
14. General housekeeping
15. Safe working practices
16. First aid training provided
