Senior Backend Engineer - £85-105k - 2 days a week in London
We are partnered with a well established fintech platform that’s looking to add a Senior Backend Engineer to one of their core backend teams.
This role sits within a high-impact product area supporting large-scale, customer-facing systems. The focus is on building resilient, scalable services rather than quick wins or feature churn.
What the role involves:
* Backend development using C# and .NET
* Designing and maintaining REST APIs
* Working with cloud-based infrastructure on Azure
* Contributing to system design and technical decisions
* Owning work from build through to production
* Collaborating closely with product, QA and engineering peers
What they're looking for:
* Strong experience with .NET and C#
* Background in building and supporting scalable systems
* Solid understanding of relational databases and API design
* Comfortable working in environments with real-world scale and complexity
