Vacancy: Timber Yard Operative (PPT Licence Required)
Location: Rodley, Leeds, LS13 1NP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 2.30pm
Pay: £12.50 per hour with skills based increases
About The Business
Woodlands Home & Garden Group is a leading UK manufacturer of garden buildings, from sheds and summerhouses to log cabins. We operate across three Yorkshire sites and continue to invest in our people, equipment, and long-term growth.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Timber Yard Operative to support the smooth flow of timber and materials into our production operation.
This is a practical, physical role where your work directly keeps production moving. You will be part of a small, dedicated team responsible for replenishing timber throughout the day, operating PPT equipment, and keeping the yard organised and safe.

What You Will Be Doing
Replenishing timber and materials to production lines throughout the day
Operating PPT equipment safely and efficiently
Keeping production supplied and minimising downtime
Working accurately to daily targets in a busy environment
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organised yard
What We Are Looking For
A valid PPT licence is essential
A reliable, proactive approach to work
Confidence working in a fast-paced manufacturing or yard environment
Good attention to detail and time management
A positive attitude and strong team focus

Pay, overtime, and rewards
