Overview
To act as the product owner for designated Karndean Designflooring ranges, supporting the delivery of innovative, commercially successful flooring solutions that align with the company's product vision, brand positioning, and customer requirements.
How You Will Contribute
You will develop a deep, practical understanding of Karndean Designflooring products, our customers, and the wider market landscape. By analysing customer behaviour, competitor activity, and emerging trends across key channels, you will help shape commercially smart decisions.
You will play a key role in bringing new flooring innovations to life, ensuring they align with our brand vision and strategic goals. Working closely with global teams, suppliers, manufacturing, and supply chain partners, you will support products through every stage of the development journey. You will also gather and translate customer and stakeholder feedback into meaningful insights that help create products people truly want.
Product Lifecycle Management
You will take ownership of product performance across its lifecycle, monitoring key indicators such as sales trends, stock levels, turnover, and channel performance. By combining internal data with external market insight, you will help optimise existing ranges and inform future product decisions.
Compliance, Quality & Sustainability
You will collaborate with technical, quality, and compliance teams to ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and quality standards across global markets.
You will act as a passionate advocate for our products, clearly communicating their benefits and value across the business and to customers. Partnering with sales and marketing teams, you will support impactful product launches, deliver engaging training, and help create effective marketing materials and customer tools that drive awareness, understanding, and commercial success.

You will play a key role in bringing new products to market in line with company strategy, ensuring ideas move seamlessly from concept through to launch. Just as importantly, you will actively manage the existing product portfolio to deliver against sales and margin targets, making confident, data-led decisions that drive performance and profitability.
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
* Experience in product management (or a commercially focused role within sales or marketing) with hands-on involvement in driving products and initiatives forward.
* A strong track record in end-to-end product lifecycle management, with a clear understanding of commercial performance, pricing, and P&L impact.
* The ability to turn data and customer insight into clear, actionable decisions that improve outcomes and shape product direction.
* Confident communication skills and a natural ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* A creative and commercially minded approach, with the ability to articulate compelling value propositions in a clear, engaging, and innovative way.
* An interest in design and interiors is beneficial, but what matters most is curiosity, commercial awareness, and a passion for creating products that customers value.
