About The Role
As a Registration Certificate Services Officer, you will process certificate applications and produce, issue, and certify birth, death, marriage, and civil partnership certificates. This role demands accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality within statutory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and occasional face‑to‑face interactions
* Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
* Recording and reconciling transactions electronically
* Ensuring the secure handling and storage of official documents, including occasional working at height to access registers in strongrooms
* Supporting the team with general administrative tasks
Training and Support
Full training will be provided, along with mentoring from experienced team members to help you settle into the role and develop your skills.
