What you'll do
As an Income Auditor, you will manage and track fixed assets across the UK hotels of Dorchester Collection, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Your responsibilities include:
* Producing accurate revenue and statistical reports for management.
* Performing daily revenue reconciliation activities in line with departmental policies.
* Highlighting and correcting deficiencies in revenue recording procedures and ensuring data accuracy.
* Maintaining reconciliation and monitoring control accounts related to revenue and cash, including intercompany transactions.
* Checking invoices payable to third parties to ensure proper revenue recognition.
* Providing relevant journals during Month-End related to various revenues.
What you'll bring
Essential Skills and Experience
* Understanding of 5-star hotel operations in the UK, especially in finance.
* Knowledge of revenue accounting control processes.
* High proficiency in MS Office, GPD, Opera, Micros.
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
* Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) is desirable.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Experience in luxury hospitality or hotel finance departments.
* Familiarity with procurement and supplier payments.
* Strong problem-solving skills to improve financial processes.
* Experience managing multiple payment systems and invoice workflows.
