As an Inside Sales Associate, you will be part of a highly motivated multi-channel team, working in a fast-paced environment that requires resilience. Your role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills via virtual channels such as Zoom and Webex. We are looking for a commercially aware sales professional, target-focused, with the drive and hunger to close sales within a B2B environment. Experience from any targeted sales background is welcome.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of your accounts and manage your diary daily, while selling an innovative portfolio of contact lens products and solutions. Alcon launched the successful Precision1 contact lens last year, with additional launches planned for this year.
In this role, a typical day will include:
* Partnering with the Senior BDM and Account Lead/Decision Maker, ECPs, and Store Team members to achieve shared goals, deliver excellent customer experience, drive patient engagement, and improve retention, thereby increasing Alcon’s market share and sales targets.
* Promoting Alcon's digital platform to encourage new prescriptions and subscriptions, accelerating customer acquisition and consumer enrollment.
* Assisting ECPs to enhance the consumer journey within the practice, including CL awareness, fitting efficiency, post-fitting support, and subscription programs, to accelerate sales growth and market share.
* Planning fitting events to support the patient journey and enhance consumer experience with Alcon brands.
* Maximizing in-store visibility through POS materials and visual merchandising initiatives.
* Collaborating with the Professional Education team to coordinate educational curricula.
* Working with local teams, including Senior Business Development Managers, Professional Education, and Marketing, to create and implement practice support models.
What you’ll bring to Alcon:
* Ability to understand customer businesses, identify needs, challenge, and sell using insights; relationship-building skills are key.
* Proven target-driven sales experience in a B2B environment, with multi-channel selling experience preferred.
* Flexibility to work in different locations as needed.
* Strong communication skills, rapport-building, and cultural sensitivity.
* Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
* Problem-solving abilities.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively, while being a strong team player.

* Education to A-Level standard or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
