About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, results-oriented individual to join our Perth Service team as a Field Service Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of site and field technicians, ensuring operational excellence of the technical service team. Reporting to the WA Service Manager, you will contribute to our market-leading brand by developing and maintaining strong business partnerships in a competitive industry.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Deliver service agreements and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Maintain contact with current and prospective customers.
* Provide excellent customer service, manage relationships, and promote retention.
* Oversee selection, training, and development of field service staff.
* Support skill development and improve team performance to foster growth and success.
* Monitor technician performance daily in line with weekly KPIs.
* Manage work allocation to meet customer requirements.
* Optimize labour productivity within your area.
* Identify and address performance shortfalls.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to set industry standards.
* Proactively pursue new business opportunities and conduct service presentations.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate is a passionate, pragmatic problem solver with a strong drive for results and a customer-focused approach. Leadership experience is essential, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Proven success in a similar role within Materials Handling, Automotive, or Capital Equipment industries is preferred. You should have a track record of managing customer bases, actively pursuing new business, and possessing excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
