Their projects combine civil engineering, MEICA installation and digital design, offering a stable and technically engaging environment for design professionals. The Role – e Plan Designer As e Plan Designer, you will play a key role in producing accurate digital drawings and coordinated design packages for water and wastewater treatment projects. Working closely with electrical engineers, ICA specialists and project managers, you will develop detailed panel layouts, schematics and submission packages that support fabrication, installation and commissioning on live utility projects. Your work will directly impact quality, compliance, programme delivery and successful handover to utility clients. Key Responsibilities • Produce detailed AutoCAD and Revit drawings for MCC panels, control panels, kiosks, instrumentation layouts and cable routing • Generate GA drawings, wiring schematics, fabrication details and electrical layout drawings for manufacturing and site teams • Develop 2D and 3D models to assist with clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination • Prepare e Planning and utility submission packages in line with Uisce Éireann and water industry standards • Manage drawing revisions, respond to authority queries and coordinate resubmissions • Liaise with electrical engineers, ICA engineers, civil and MEP teams to maintain accurate and up to date documentation • Support construction and commissioning teams with clear and compliant installation drawings • Carry out drawing quality checks before issue in line with internal QA procedures • Maintain structured digital libraries with full version control across concept, detailed design and as built stages • Compile as built documentation packages for handover to public sector and utility clients About You • Background in electrical design, building services, utilities or construction engineering • Proven experience producing electrical and control system drawings using AutoCAD, Revit or similar CAD BIM platforms • Strong understanding of MCC panel design, PLC systems, ICA layouts and instrumentation schedules • Experience working on water, wastewater or utility infrastructure projects is highly desirable • Familiar with utility standards such as Uisce Éireann, UK water industry specifications or EN standards • Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret engineer mark ups and technical redlines • Organised and capable of managing multiple live projects to strict deadlines • Collaborative approach with the confidence to contribute at design review meetings What’s on Offer Salary: €50,000 to €60,000 DOE Benefits: • Company pension • Ongoing CPD and sector specific training • Exposure to major water and wastewater treatment projects • Long term career progression within the utilities sector Why Apply?
