Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering & Earthworks
We are looking for an ambitious Commercial Manager to manage the commercial aspects of groundworks and civil engineering schemes.
The Role:
You will manage the commercial aspects of a variety of groundworks and civil engineering schemes, working closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. This role offers genuine progression opportunities to Commercial Management depending on your experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all commercial and contractual elements of assigned projects
* Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Monitor budgets and project costs, providing regular financial reports
* Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering and/or groundworks
* Strong understanding of NEC contracts (preferred)Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
