Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging Early Years lessons and activities
2. Support children’s learning, development, and well-being
3. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
4. Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences when required
5. Monitor children’s progress and provide feedback where necessary
6. Work closely with nursery staff, teaching assistants, and parents
7. Follow safeguarding, health, and safety procedures at all times
8. Promote positive behaviour and encourage confidence and independence
Essential Skills & Experience
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
10. Passion for Early Years education and child development
11. Strong communication and classroom management skills
12. Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
13. Flexible and professional approach to work
14. Ability to adapt quickly to different settings and environments
15. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply
