In this rewarding role you will be helping the people we support to get the most out of life including going for lunch and even sailing! We offer fantastic benefits, training and a great team environment.
This role will involve supporting 6 people in their home in Southampton. ( 1 male and 5 females) You will support them to enjoy the things they love most. This includes going out for lunch, going shopping, trips to the cinema, going to day service, sailing and support with attending virtual events. They also like cooking and baking, plus they love doing picnics and having BBQs in the summer, so be prepared to get your chef hat on! Others responsibilities include support with the household tasks, attending health appointments, food shopping, full support with personal care (bath, shower, toilet support) and you would need to be able to do moving and handling due to them using wheelchairs and hoists. Their disabilities include epilepsy, limited communication, loss of sight PEGS support and learning disabilities.
Shift patterns - These can vary on a weekly basis and will be discussed at interview. (Example - 7am - 3pm / 2pm - 10pm / alternate weekends and sleep ins)
