An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing team within the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) space. This role is perfect for someone who combines technical knowledge with commercial acumen and is ready to take ownership of business growth within a fast-paced, safety-critical industry.

* Base salary from £45,000 (OTE from £50,000+)
* £5,500 annual car cash allowance
* Uncapped commission structure

What you’ll be doing
In this position, you will lead sales initiatives focused on delivering advanced NDT solutions across key industry sectors. Working with a team of specialists in both destructive and non-destructive testing, your focus will be on building new relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions that help clients maintain safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Your day to day might look like this:
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for your assigned market or region
* Prospect, engage, and win new business through effective lead generation and solution selling
* Present technical service offerings to senior stakeholders and decision-makers
* Understand client needs and align services accordingly using a consultative sales approach
* Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell additional engineering and compliance solutions
* Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and reporting
* Monitor industry trends and market movements to inform strategy
A bit about you
Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), ideally in a commercial or engineering role
* Strong understanding of industry regulations and inspection standards
* Proven ability to manage the full sales lifecycle and close high-value deals
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, particularly within technical or industrial environments
* Experience using CRM tools and working to structured sales targets
