About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with a genuine passion for childcare. As Coordinator, you will inspire your team with compassion, friendliness, and the ability to engage positively and productively with children.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Create a safe, inclusive space: Champion a culture where every child and staff member feels welcome, supported, and respected.
* Stay organised and vigilant: Manage accurate attendance records and bookings to ensure consistent supervision and safety.
* Empower your team: Supervise and mentor educators, helping them grow in confidence and capability in their daily practice.
* Inspire young minds: Design and deliver engaging, educational programs, underpinned by thoughtful observations and reflection.
* Live the values: Support and promote the mission and ethos of the Catholic Church, embedding them in your day-to-day leadership.
* Build strong community ties: Nurture positive relationships with families, the school, and key community stakeholders.
This permanent, part-time position offers 50 hours per fortnight in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About You:
* A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Proven experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)
* Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills
* Is reliable, organised, and enthusiastic
* Certification in Child Protection Training
* Current First Aid Certificates, including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management
* A valid NSW Working With Children Check
